The present church dates from the 14th Century, when the nave and tower were erected.
The tower , which contains a medieval bell frame and 3 bells is on the south side of the
nave and its base serves as the porch. The chancel was added during the early 1420s.

Notable features include the 14th Century octagonal font, the large stained glass chancel
 window, fragments of medieval glass incorporated in the north chancel window and the
late Victorian paintings of the three Magi and of Jesus with two disciples on the road to
 Emmaus which adorn the beautiful east window. Some of these features are shown below.
